National Racking Horse Association Choo Choo Chapter

Chattanooga, Tennessee

The National Racking Horse Association is a Non-Profit
Association chartered in 1972.  It was designed to promote and distinguish the Racking Horse as a show horse.
We have local chapters in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Our program consists of classes for the Saddlebred, Nationalbred
and Walkingbred horses.  We offer classes for Rookie Rider,
Show Pleasure, Flatshod Pleasure, Country Pleasure,
Trail Pleasure, Flatshod Open, Juvenile, and Children's Leadline;
along with the regular line up of classes for all three breeds of horses.  Our show season runs from April thru September.
We have a state championship show in each of the three states,
and a world show to conclude our season and to crown our
world champions.  We offer an opportunity to nominate your horse
for a high point award at the end of each year.  We hold two meetings per year for the parent association in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
At the November meeting, officers are elected by popular ballot and rules governing the association are reviewed and any changes
addressed are decided by popular vote.
